Upchurch Parish Council Announcement
Dear Residents of Upchurch,
We are excited to announce that the new equipment at the Upchurch Play Area in The Paddock is now officially open and ready for everyone to enjoy! The newly installed additions include a variety of fun and exciting features designed to enhance the play experience for children of all ages.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Swale Borough Council and The National Lottery for their generous grant funding, which has made it possible to deliver these fantastic upgrades to our local play area. Without their support, this project would not have been possible.
Stay tuned for an update with photos of the new equipment, coming soon!
We hope you and your families will take full advantage of these improvements and enjoy the new play space.
Best regards,
Upchurch Parish Council

Upchurch is situated just off the A2, between Rainham and Sittingbourne, in the County of Kent. It has been here for centuries, and is now a bustling village, population approximately 2,500, which still retains a rural atmosphere, despite being within easy reach of the Medway Towns, the north Kent coast and many other places of interest such as Canterbury and Rochester
Upchurch has many amenities, such as a fine 13th Century church, a thriving primary school, a busy Village Hall, three pubs, farm shops, a golf course and many other activities, making it both a good place to live and to visit.
The Parish Council normally meets every first Thursday of the month (excluding August, when there is no meeting). Please refer to the Minutes and Agendas page for details of time and location.
Our Report It! page gives details of where to log faults with bins, dog fouling, graffiti, litter, roads, pavements, street lights and public rights of way and the Useful Links page contains other helpful links.
